Helping you navigate with clarity, courage, and compassion.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a lifelong curiosity about human stories and resilience. I hold a PhD in English and a Master's in Teaching from the University of Oregon, as well as a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. With experience in both education and counseling, I bring a wide-angle lens to therapy—drawing connections between past and present while focusing on the choices and possibilities available right now.
At 60, I bring not just training but also the perspective that comes from lived experience. I understand what it means to start over, to adapt, to hold uncertainty, and to grow at every stage of life. Whether you’re just beginning adulthood or reflecting on decades lived, I would be honored to walk with you for part of your path.
In my free time, I love reading Shakespeare, imagining the romance of the Middle Ages, and embracing the rhythms of life in the Pacific Northwest, where I’ve made my home after beginning my life on the East Coast. I volunteer at The Liberation Institute, a grassroots mental health organization.
I’m a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a passion for helping people navigate life’s transitions—whether you’re shifting careers, returning to school, adjusting to retirement, stepping away from the military, or redefining your role in family life. Change can be challenging, but it also opens the door to growth, meaning, and renewal. My goal is to support you as you move forward—toward clarity, confidence, and a life that aligns with your values.
